Who runs the world? Sports degrees for passionate girls

Growing up I often found myself hanging out with the boys. Whether it was playing handball at lunchtime or the local soccer competition on the weekends (go cougars!), the majority of my time was spent outside surrounded by like-minded kids. As I got older and tried even more types of sports, I realised that I was no longer hanging out with just the boys but with athletic girls too! Due to this I was finally able to drop the tomboy label and get back to loving sports – just because I did and not because it was a boy’s thing.

Now as I’m about to head into the next chapter of my life (see you later high school), I’m facing the same sort of dilemma. I’d love to use my passion to work in the sports industry, but isn’t it just another boys club? Is there a way I can turn my passion for sport into a dream career? Well thankfully I got in touch with the team at ACPE and they gave me these five insights to help put my mind at ease.

Five reasons girls should get into the sports industry

Whether you want to run a dancing school or be the head PHE Teacher at your local high school, there has never been a better time to get into the sports industry.  Don’t believe me? Check out these industry statistics:
